This year’s World Book Day was celebrated in many ways at Woods Primary School. We watched fun assemblies from our favourite authors, like David Walliams, we talked about our favourite books, read our class novels and story books.
This year our whole school decided to think about our favourite characters from books, and we had to create our favourite character out of a potato! All our staff have been amazed at the creativity, imagination and art skills used by the children. A huge thank you to all the adults who helped and inspired the children with their creations. We are very proud of each and every one.
