P6 entered the Ulster Farmers' Union Schools Competition, which was supported and sponsored by Musgrave Retail Partners NI.
The competition was entitled 'Visualising Farming.' Classes had to create something to represent safety on the farm. P6 put all their ideas together and came up with the design of making a life size model of a cow and in groups they would design smaller farm safety models to represent SAFE (slurry, animals, falls and equipment). These would then be placed into inserts on the cow's sides.
P6 were informed last week that they were overall winners of the P5-7 category. Well done boys and girls!
