We are so proud of the Woods team’s performance today at the Tri-county Netball Tournament in Cookstown. Our P7 team took home silver medals and scored over 25 goals! They narrowly lost the final 3-2 to St Brigid’s Mayogall. Third place went to Cookstown Primary who also had a very strong team. The player of the tournament went to Sophie from Phoenix Integrated PS. Well done to all of the teams who entered and took part competitively today. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves! Our P6 team stepped in last minute to replace another school who was unable to attend. Woods Team 2 played enthusiastically and enjoyed the experience- well done girls! A big thank you to Lisa Bowman for helping to organise the tournament and umpiring matches. We also want to thank all of the staff who brought their children along to the tournament today and helped them to prepare beforehand.
