P7 WAU topic this term is “Lights, Camera, Action!” They have been exploring how light travels in straight lines by making a light maze. They investigated how light bends passing through water. This is called refraction. P7 also investigated how to change the size of shadows. They made a shadow clock one sunny day by plotting the position of a shadow each hour. We all discovered that the sun appears to move across the sky during the day. We are currently using our knowledge of light and shadows to construct a shadow puppet theatre.
