Competition Success

We want to congratulate three of our P7 Children; Louise, Ellie and Jane who are finalists in the Montgomery Food Consulting Ltd: (Butchery Excellence Scheme) Competition which they entered in June.  This involved designing a new recipe for a Sausage. They were selected to go along to McKee’s Butchers Factory in Maghera on Friday 16^th October 2015 at 10am to produce their sausage.  The girls had a brilliant time making their sausages and were able to bring home a bag for sampling with their family.  McKees have kindly agreed to stock some of the new sausage recipes in the shop to see if they are popular with the customers.  So if you are in Maghera call in and buy some of the new sausages on sale!

Thanks to Mrs Eleanor Richardson for accompanying the girls on this special outing and to McKees Factory for hosting this stage of the competition.  We await the results to see who goes on to the final!
