African Children's Choir

Denise Rosborough visited our assembly to talk to us all about her work with the African Children's Choir.
We enjoyed learning a new song with her and doing the fun actions. We got to see photos of where the children come from. We will all raise some money for the children in the choir when we pay £1 on Friday 23rd October for a non uniform day.
The African Children's Choir invited 20 Woods Choir members to sing with them on Thursday 3rd December in Magherafelt High School.
The KS2 children are looking forward to learning the new songs during music lessons with Mr Lennox and Mrs Duncan.
Concert tickets will be available to purchase in November from participating schools £6 each.
