We have been learning about fabrics this term. We went on a visit to Wellbrook Beetling Mill to learn about how flax was made into linen. In school we found out about other fabrics. We used a microscope to look at how fabrics are woven and had a go at some weaving of our own. We found out about how the old beetling mill was powered by a water wheel and then found out about other renewable sources of energy.
